The law firm of Dyer Garofalo, Mann & Schultz are proud to announce the winners for the Tiger Safety Calendar contest for 2012.  The images in the calendar were chosen from over 1200 entries DGM&S received from area school children and young people. Law firm managing partner Michael Dyer, said, "We wanted a way to reach out to the schools in the community, and an art contest seemed like a great way to get kids involved, and thinking about safety, plus we can help the schools when they really need it." The winning students are to receive a $250 prize, and each of the winning entrants' schools will receive a $1,000 honorarium from the law firm.

Over 75 local schools participated by encouraging student to draw pictures depicting a Safety Rule or Tip incorporating the DGM&S mascot, the Tiger. "We were overwhelmed and excited by all of the great submissions we received from the area's talented young artists," Attorney Dyer continued.

The twelve winners, listed below, are featured on the 2012 Tiger Safety Calendar. Firm spokesman and managing partner Doug Mann said, "At Dyer, Garofalo, Mann & Schultz, we recognize the first step toward making a safer future, is involving our youth in safety advocacy." Attorney Mann continued, "We would like to thank all the participating students and schools for their support with this project. We hope that everyone in the community enjoys this calendar as much as we enjoyed putting it together, and we want to encourage kids to enter our contest next fall."
