JDRF's mission is to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research. JDRF is also committed to developing new and better treatments that improve the lives of people with type 1 diabetes in the near term and keep them healthy while we advance toward a cure. Walk to Cure Diabetes

Each year the Dayton Ohio JDRF branch holds a 5k walk to raise money for finding a cure for diabetes. Last year the Dayton Branch raised over $335,000! Several employees from DGMS are part of the over 2,500 participants who walk every year. Funds go to Diabetes research and education about diabetes. 

The 2010 Walk to Cure Diabetes Dayton Walk is scheduled for October 2 from Island MetroPark or September 26 from Heritage Park, Lima.  For information about the 2010 Walk, volunteer opportunities, or sponsorship please call (937) 439-2873 or visit the Dayton JDRF website.
