Meet Our 2017-18 Tiger Safety Calendar Winners

2017-2018 Tiger Safety CalendarWe here at Dyer, Garofalo, Mann & Schultz have been running the Tiger Safety Calendar Contest for seven years, and it never gets any easier picking winners from the thousands of excellent entries we get! We are, however, pleased to announce those winners for the 2017-18 contest.

The following Miami Valley students — and their schools’ art programs — received an award from DGM&S. Students were given a $250 prize while their art programs benefited from a $1,000 honorarium from our law firm. The money has been used in the past to help fund art clubs, send students on special trips, buy art supplies, and more. (Check out DGM&S in the news for its contest last year, when Miami East High School senior Kiera Fellers was featured on the cover of our 2016 calendar.)

On the cover (pictured above) for the 2017-18 calendar is Aleea G. of Yellow Springs High School’s gorgeous tiger face with the phrase “Safety is a full-time job. Don’t make it a part-time practice.” We couldn’t have said it better.

Congratulations to all of this year’s winners, and thanks for creating such beautiful art to advocate for safety in our towns and schools!
